It does not have an extra dirt sensor.
This cart has only two connectors that connect to the board.
Not all Roombas are equipped with extra bin and dirt sensors. You can tell if your robot has these sensors by looking at your green extractor brush module.
- Tank sensor . Intended to detect when the tank is full. Your robot's brush module comes equipped with two black pieces located at the dirt outlet that goes to the tank. In addition, the modules that come equipped with this sensor have three connectors on the bottom. This item DOES come equipped with this sensor. (See photos)
- Extra dirt sensor . Intended to detect a particularly dirty area so that the robot can focus on it. It is a round metal plate (the size of a coin) located under the rollers. It can be easily seen by removing the green rollers. The modules that come equipped with this sensor also have three connectors on the bottom. This item does not come equipped with this sensor. Modules with three connectors equipped with bin and dirt sensors may work on robots with only two connectors (which do not have sensors). However, we recommend purchasing the same module that is equipped on your robot.
