Central extractor brush module for iRobot Roomba series e, i. Also compatible with model J5 (Not J7 and later).
It has extra dirt and tank sensors.
This cart has three connectors that connect to the board for all the sensors to work (See photo).
Not all Roombas are equipped with extra bin and dirt sensors. You can find out if your robot has these sensors in the following way.
- Tank sensor . Intended to detect when the tank is full. The brush module of your robot comes equipped with two black pieces located at the dirt outlet that goes to the tank. It also has three connectors on the bottom. This item is equipped with this sensor (See photo)
- Extra dirt sensor . Intended to detect a particularly dirty area. It is a round metal plate (the size of a coin) located under the rollers. It can be easily seen by removing the green rollers. This item is provided with this sensor (See photo)
There are other modules with only two connectors and fewer sensors that can work on more equipped robots, losing some of their functions.
This module is 100% compatible with dual connector modules.
