You can have two charging docks in different locations. For example, if you have a house with several floors, you can place a dock in every floor. Your robot will always be loaded.
How do I know if I have damaged my charging dock?
If you believe that your charging dock is damaged, before buying a new one, make sure the problem is in the chargng dock and not in the power supply:
All iRobot Roomba models from the 500, 600, 700 and 800 series.
For example 505, 510, 520, 530, 531, 532, 534, 535, 540, 550, 555, 560, 562, 563, 564, 580, 581, 600, 610, 625, 700, 760, 780, 870 and 880.
